Sundial Co. Ltd, is a family business established in 1985 by Mr. Kleopas Christodoulou and it is based in Lemesos, Cyprus. Our aim is the import and distribution of scientific equipment for private and public clinical, research and food laboratories.
At the beginning, the company imports and distributes laboratory consumables, but from 1990 the business expanded in laboratory instruments sector. During the 90’s, Sundial Co. Ltd acts as exclusive Cyprus distributor for important manufacturers of laboratory plasticware and glassware (LP Italiana, F.L.Medical, Kartell, Assistent, Hirschmann), small instruments (Gilson, Asal, Κern, MRC), diagnostic reagents (Human, Teco Diagnostics, Spinreact), microbiology products (Neogen, Liofilchem, Bioprepare, TCS biosciences) and chemical reagents (Scharlab, ΗiMedia).
Until 1997, the major market share for the company was the private clinical laboratories sector. Following the market trends, Sundial Co. Ltd expanded into the public health sector through tenders. With key customers like O.K.YP.Y. (State Health Services Organisation), the Department of Veterinary Services and the State General Laboratory, the company developed strong business relationships with research and educational centres such as The Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics, Medicover Genetics, the University of Cyprus, the Cyprus University of Technology and the Karaiskakio Foundation of Bone Marrow Donor Registry. Nowadays, Sundial’s market share continues to grow by supplying laboratory equipment for the pharmaceutical sector, milk industry, wineries, water, wastewater and food treatment companies, as well as schools.
In 2003, Sundial Co. Ltd moves to its modern and fully equipped 3 floor building in Lemesos, with a warehouse exceeding 1000sqm and inventory of at least 200.000€. The company is now dealing with more than 20 manufacturers worldwide and establishes long lasting and fruitful business relationships with both suppliers and customers.
Sundial Co. Ltd is certified and accredited with European standards EN ISO9001:2015, ΕΝ ISO 13485:2016 and CYS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
