In 2005, Μaria Christodoulou, is appointed in the position of Technical Director and creates the first laboratory of excellence for automatic pipette calibration and adjustment in Cyprus. The lab specializes in calibration and adjustment of all fixed and adjustable automatic pipettes, both single and multichannel, from all major pipette manufacturers.

Sundial’s calibration laboratory, in 2011, officially becomes at that time, the first and only accredited laboratory of its kind in Cyprus. Certification was given by CYS according to demands of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and ISO15189:2012 which cover testing laboratories, clinical and other similar laboratories. Calibration method used is according to ISO8655.
